On the 4th of April 2008, an exchange of protocols was done between the Royal House of Georgia and the Royal House of Montenegro.

The Orders of the Eagle and Tunic of Christ of Georgia and the Order of Danilo I of Montenegro was exchanged between both Royal Houses.
